Kodak Photo Competition

Participate in Kodak EasyShare Gallery’s monthly photo competition and you will have a chance to win a Kodak V570 camera! Your photo may even be featured on the Kodak Gallery homepage (only with your explicit permission).

This month’s theme is "Shop-aholic" . Share your experience with us! Submit any photo you like, but remember we love to see you in it! The best photo will win a Kodak V570 camera!

Share your photo (how to share?) with photocompetition1@kodakgallery.co.uk. Please submit your photo before April 17th 2006; submissions after this date will not be considered.

The winning photo will be announced in our May Newsletter along with a link to an album containing the top 10 photo submissions as selected by our jury.

Your photo is not yet online?

1. Click the "Add photos" tab on the Kodak Gallery website
2. Create a new album
3. Add the photo you would like to submit by:
  a. Clicking the orange "Choose Photos" button
    OR
  b. By selecting the photo from its folder and dragging it to the gray "Drag and Drop" area.
4. When your photo appears loaded on the page, click "Start upload".

How to Share/Submit?

1. Click "View & Edit Albums".
2. Select the album that contains the photo you wish to share.
3. Select the photo you wish to share.
4. Click "Share This Photo" on the right column.
5. Enter the correct photo competition email address.
6 . In the message field, please include a short description of the photo; where and when it was taken, who and/or what it is showing.
7 . Click "Send".

Not a Kodak Easyshare Gallery member yet?

To participate in the photo competition, you need a Kodak Easyshare Gallery account with a valid email address (i.e. an email address where you can be contacted if needed). Registering is free, and you will receive 10 free prints as a welcome gift! Go to the Kodak Gallery website and register as a member today.

I do not receive your monthly Newsletter. How can I sign up?
If you currently do not receive our monthly Newsletter, you can change your account settings on the "Personal Information" page under the "My Account" button on the Kodak Gallery website. Tick the "Send me special offers and news from the KODAK EASYSHARE Gallery Team" option.

 

Can I send my photo as an email attachment?
No. With the current risks of introducing harmful viruses, we hope you will understand our company policy not to open any attachments. Please send us your photo by sharing a Kodak Gallery album (see how to share/submit?).

Can I submit more than one photo?
We only allow one photo entry per participant. If you submit more than one entry, we will only consider the first entry you made. If you submit an album containing more than one photo, we will only consider the first photo in this album.

If you want the right photo to be considered for the photo competition, please make sure you submit only one photo!

How do I create an album with one photo?
We only allow one photo entry per participant. If your photo is in an online album containing more than one photo, please follow instructions below.

1. Click the "View & Edit albums" tab on the Kodak Gallery website
2. Select the album that contains the photo you wish to submit
3. Click "Edit Album"
4. Click "Copy Photos"
5. Check "Create a new album …" and provide album name
6. Select the photo you wish to copy
7. Click the orange "Copy photos" button

Can I submit photos taken in a professional photo studio?
Yes you can, but please make sure you are or have written approval from the author and rightful owner of the original photo and any copyright associated with it.
